Forrest and Jenny's offers free educational programs to schools and civic groups. We want to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the importance of population control. We also strive to encourage the public to adopt homeless animals, and dismiss any misconceptions about adopting from a shelter/rescue group. We have several adoptive animals available to make appearances during speaking engagements. Call us at (918)836-9069, or email us at ForrestandJennys@aol.com for information.
NOT ALL "RESCUERS" AND BREEDERS HAVE THE ANIMAL'S BEST INTERESTS AT HEART
.PHOTOS TAKEN AT A DOG BREEDER'S HOME
That cute pedigreed puppy at the pet store may have cost you over $800, but do you know how the breeder cares for the dogs they breed? The photos at the right were taken at a breeder's home......not what you expected?
Not all "rescuers" are helpful, either. Frankly, too many rescuers get overwhelmed by trying to help too many animals at one time. They become "hoarders," and do more harm than good. They are unable to provide clean conditions and adequate vet care, sometimes harming the animals general health and causing socialization problems.
